Script

During this flat classroom project I've learned how to collaborate, improve my commutation skills, and become a strong independent individual. I learned how to incorporate many themes into an project and enjoyed it! This experience has introduced me to new "digital tools" such as Movie Maker, Screencast-O-Matic, and OddCast. This digital tools all helped me with my video.

-during my presentation, I will talk about how I worked with people from different schools from other schools, and how I incorporated new technology into my project, and also how the Flat Classroom Project has helped me become a independent individual.

Questions

Social Networks such as Twitter and Facebook help it's users communicate with people from around the world. For example, when Mrs. Bird was not here, she posted/tweeted to students about a difficult project. By this, students were able to gain knowledge about what to do.

These skills are being addressed by the collaboration amongst students nation wide. Such things like outsourcing videos and communicating with students for good projects.

It enables students to prepare for their future jobs. For example, students were to work in teams but some teammates weren't as active as other members, so teammates had to step in and do their job to get the project done. By this, students are able to not depend entirely on their teammates but become the "hero of the day." This is a good preparation for students to grow up as strong independent individuals in the work field.

I'll be more active in projects instead of being a slacker or the least active member in the team. If everybody is 100% active and involved in the project, then more good results will come out of it. With more collaboration and communication amongst teammates, then the better outcome there is. -This flat classroom project has helped me be a more independent individual in projects because my teammates weren't as active as I'd hope they be. This has helped me become my own self-collaborater. As a self-collaborater, I can use these skills to help people over online as well as myself.

Digital Citizenship

Hello,
My name is Tatyanna T. and I am taking a very fun class called Digital Communication Tools. In this class we learn about technology and how it effects us, how to correctly behave online and offline, and it prepares us to use specific skills and tolls necessary for the 21st century. Digital Citizenship is our first unit of study, and for our first project we were assigned to make a infographic to show what we have learned about digital citizenship. Digital Citizenship means to act cordially and professional in the digital world.

Digital Citizenship isn't one of my priorities online. If I was to rate my profile and behavior online it'd be like a 2/5. That's only because I use inappropriate language, but I do NOT post pictures that will have a negative impact on my future. I use social networking sites like any average teenager. I have not changed anything on my profile because there's nothing negative on there, and it's just dealing with the embarrassment of being a "online-nerd."

My infographic displays what I have learned about digital citizenship and key concepts in the unit. I also researched how people are totally different online and added percentages.
